Long Island Community Program – Breast Cancer Surgery: What You Need To Know (Virtual)

CancerCare will offer a free 90-minute virtual workshop through Zoom, available to clients diagnosed with breast cancer and living on Long Island.

In this workshop, clients will learn about the types of breast cancer surgery, and how to cope with the changing physical and emotional impacts of treatment. Moderated by an oncology social worker, participants will receive practical tips, coping skills and techniques and an overview of other CancerCare programs, including the wig and prosthesis clinic.
