2023 Endpoints Report: Phase 1 of the CSSI Action Plan

The 2023 Endpoints Report offers a deep dive into Phase 1 of the Cancer Stage Shifting Initiative (CSSI) Action Plan that was set into motion in the last quarter of 2022.

The journey embarked upon by CSSI, which is aligned with the Biden Administration’s Cancer Moonshot 2.0, with its commitment to change, presents a beacon of hope for historically excluded communities, signaling a more inclusive, early, and effective cancer care landscape in the U.S.

CSSI’s mission is to move these communities in the U.S. from a disparate, late-stage diagnoses to early-stage diagnoses and treatment of cancer with an initial focus on people living with colorectal cancer. Stage shifting requires system changes via coordinated efforts with patients, caregivers, families and all stakeholders in the oncology community and beyond.

NMQF expects to reach more than 11 million patients, clinicians and other stakeholders monthly through its advocacy and policy efforts, social media communication, clinical research, quality improvement and community engagement. Cancer Moonshot creates the opportunity for equity in cancer detection and treatment as emerging technologies change the landscape.
